Fresh from presenting RuPaul's season 5 after show (After Shave) and hot from the runway of RuPaul's Drag Race UK S4, our current reigning queen DANNY BEARD is coming to the Bloomsbury Big Top. This promises to be a night of non-stop laughter, incredible vocals, queer anthems, and of course, show-stopping fashion.

    Danny (they/them), the winner of Drag Race U.K. Season 4 is headlining Winter Pride 2023! Join Danny as they take to the stage, serving a sizzling hot show that promises to be bigger, better, and CAMPER than ever before!

    Char Bailey (she/her), who is a life coach, part of the UK Black Pride team and the new Head of Wellbeing and Education at Birmingham Pride, speaks on Just Like Us' new podcast series, in a new episode special released on International Lesbian Day. On inclusive education.

    Megan Jayne Crabbe

    Megan (she/her) is the other half of our power-couple hostesses, a dynamic presenter, best-selling author, and content creator, she’s known for her very powerful and very real way of addressing pressing topics like body positivity, mental health, feminism, and eating disorder recovery.

    Zaki Musa

    Zaki (they/them) is a creative practitioner and multi-disciplinary aerialist, with a keen interest in identity, technology and narrative storytelling, this show will have all eyes to the sky and all jaws on the floor.

    Bitten Peach

    Bitten Peach, the UK’s 1st queer Pan-Asian cabaret, will be bringing pure gold to the Big Top. They focus on telling Asian stories, curating safe and expansive spaces that centre and celebrate Queer-Asian life and joy!

    Charlotte Hodson

    Charlotte (she/her) has spent the last 25 years touring the world as a backing vocalist and super-star singer in her own right. She has performed alongside the likes of Lemar, Westlife, Dannii Minogue, Kim Wilde, Kelly Clarkson, Jamelia, the list goes on and on.

    Dave Cooper - DJ

    Dave (he/him) is a renowned Gaydio presenter and DJ who serves the freshest sounds from across the broad church of House music, mixed in with some old skool gems and forgotten classics.classics.

    Lady Lloyd - DJ

    Lady Lloyd (they/them), the award-winning DJ has been the most popular Pop DJ on the scene for almost 20 years. Internationally touring extensively with Ke$ha ('Get Sleazy' World Tour) and found on the Vivienne Westwood catwalk – she can now be located behind the decks of our Big Top.

    Demii-Lee Walker

    Demii (she/her) is an actress, presenter and spoken word artist. Her strong passion for justice and equality fuels her writing, and her evocative delivery is next-to-none.

    Em Hunter

    Em (she/her) is a slam winning LGBTQ+ poet. Her writing explores themes of social justice, identity, and her experiences navigating the world as a masculine-presenting lesbian.

    Jake Nathan

    Jake (he/him) is a slam winning spoken-word poet from London. His work focuses on mental health, social justice issues and being working class in England. 

  • The venue - Bloomsbury big top

    Well, the name – Bloomsbury Big Top – says it all. We’re going for breath-taking grandeur and Circus chic with a venue as vast as it is opulent.

     

    Situated in the legendary Coram’s Fields in Bloomsbury, Central London, you’ll strut through an illuminated walkway into our dazzling reception – for your photo opportunity– before you enter the pièce de résistance performance space and dance floor.

     

    The Bloomsbury Big Top is an accessible venue.

    Large cloakroom available.

    Over 18's only.

    You maybe asked to show government photo ID.

    Fully heated and well ventilated venue.

    Unfortunately food is not available at the venue.

     

    Doors open at 5.30pm. Shows start 7pm promptly. Event close Midnight. Carriages 12.30am.

     

    All LGBTQI+ family welcome and allies.
